LIF Global application process

Applications for the programme open every year in August, and close towards the end of September. The list of eligible countries changes each year; you can find out more about countries we’ve previously worked with here. If applications for LIF Global are not currently open, but you’d like to hear when they do, register for our mailing list today. 

This programme is enabled by funding from the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. 

How to apply to LIF Global

Before applications open, we will share a guidance note document outlining the programme’s structure, timings, and eligibility for the year ahead. Please carefully review this guidance document prior to making a submission to ensure you meet the requirements, and are able to attend throughout. 

All applications must be submitted though the Grant Management System. You must create an account in order to submit your application. 

We actively encourage applications from under-represented backgrounds and demographics. The Academy is committed to making reasonable adjustments to remove barriers that hinder participation.
