International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) is an annual campaign on 23 June, to raise awareness of the contribution women have made to the engineering profession. The Academy’s International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) Leadership Lunch will bring together the next generation of engineers with senior industry leaders and provide an opportunity to share advice and experience first-hand.
With this year’s INWED theme ‘Engineering Intelligence, a panel discussion hosted by Academy CEO, Dame Tamara Finkelstein DCB, will explore how human creativity and technological innovation combine to solve complex challenges and drive inclusive progress.

Cancellations
Kindly note that seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis only once payment is received. All cancellation requests must be received in writing via email to the Academy Events Team at [email protected]. A request for cancellation (and refund) will be accepted up to the deadline 03 June 2026. Royal Academy of Engineering must make commitments to suppliers at that time and making changes will result in additional costs or penalties. If the cancellation request is received after the deadline, we cannot issue a refund.
