Academy awardees, alumni and Fellows will come together in person for the first time to build connections with each other and take part in workshop sessions focused on some of the Academy’s key policy areas.
The half-day event on Thursday 25 May will take place simultaneously across 5 UK locations and online, giving as many awardees, alumni and Fellows the opportunity to take part and build connections amongst the Community.
We’re delighted to announce Billy Boyle MBE FREng as keynote speaker for the event. Billy is the co-founder and CEO of Owlstone Inc. Billy is a Fellow of the Academy, and was previously a recipient of Academy’s Silver Medal and winner of the 2018 MacRobert Award. His keynote will be livestreamed from our London event, with a Q&A to follow after.
The afternoon will also be packed with inspiring talks and interactive sessions. Delegates will have an opportunity to bring their engineering expertise to bear on current and future global challenges and bring their perspectives to the Academy’s work.
Those attending in-person will have the opportunity to network with fellow attendees once it formally closes, while those unable to attend in person will be able to take part online.
