Bringing graphene from research into real-world application
As founder and Chief Executive of Paragraf, Simon has led the development of the world’s first scalable graphene electronic devices, overcoming a challenge that had remained unresolved for more than 15 years. The company’s innovations are enabling new capabilities across electronics, opening the door to technologies that were previously unattainable.
A materials engineer with a background in the semiconductor industry, Simon has built his career on translating advanced research into commercially viable technologies. His work reflects a deep understanding of both material science and industrial application.
Under Simon’s leadership, Paragraf has transformed graphene from a promising material into a deployable technology with global impact.
He was elected Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2021, notably as the first Enterprise Hub member to receive this honour.
