Dr Roni Savage OBE FREng

Dr Roni Savage is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Geologist and Specialist in Land Condition (SiLC), specialising in ground engineering, land reclamation and the remediation of brownfield sites.  

She is the founder and Chief Executive of Jomas Associates, an engineering consultancy she established in 2009 to deliver sustainable and innovative solutions to the construction industry, for contaminated land and geotechnical challenges. Roni’s work has enabled the safe redevelopment of complex sites, supporting major infrastructure projects, including highway expansions such as the M25.  

Roni's approach combines technical excellence with a strong focus on practical delivery and people. Beyond her engineering work, Roni is an influential voice in industry policy. She serves as Construction Policy Chair for the Federation of Small Businesses, where she advocates for improved practices across the sector. She also serves as a non-executive Director to the UK Government Department of Business and Trade. She was elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2024 and was awarded an OBE for services to young people, the construction industry and business in December 2025.
