Leading complex engineering operations across defence, aviation and infrastructure
Beginning in the Royal Air Force, where she became one of the first women to hold senior engineering posts, Dawn went on to take leadership roles including Director of Engineering at Gatwick Airport, UK Change Director at National Grid, and, more recently she has been the CEO of both hyper scale and edge data centre development platforms.
Dawn’s work has focused on improving performance, safety and resilience across large-scale operational systems, often in highly regulated and safety-critical environments.
Alongside her leadership roles, Dawn is a strong advocate for diversity in engineering, working to support women and young people entering the profession. She was elected Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2020 and in recognition of her services to diversity in engineering, has also been awarded a damehood.
