Research Fellowships 2018
Dr Wang has research interests focused on novel, multifunctional nanomaterials, and their real-world applications. For example, combining these materials with engineered nanostructures to achieve efficient optoelectronic devices for light generation, telecommunication, biosensing, and chemical sensing. With the Academy Research Fellowship, she aims to engineer the physical and chemical properties of two-dimensional materials to maximise their potential for laser devices. Her research vision is to combine engineering, physics, and chemistry principles to provide unprecedented solutions to global challenges associated with nanotechnology, energy, biotechnology, and information technology.
