Research Chairs and Senior Research Fellowships 2019-20
Stuart’s research is focussed on developing, testing, and demonstrating networks of imaging sensors that can locate, position and guide assembly tools and systems in large volume factory spaces to fractions of a millimetre. His research with Airbus is about developing highly accurate cost-effective optical measurement systems that can be built into future digitised factory infrastructure to meet the needs of next generation aircraft wing manufacture and testing.
