Research Chairs and Senior Research Fellowships 2015-16
The project’s overall goal for the Renishaw/RAEng Research Chair is to create new metrology technologies for future autonomous manufacturing. It focuses on two critical underpinning areas: an automated design specification and metrology platform, and embedded metrology sensors/instruments. It is ‘user-inspired’ research in conjunction with a world-leading company: Renishaw, to challenge gaps and formidable barriers in precision metrology and seek scientific and technological solutions.
