Research Chairs and Senior Research Fellowships 2013-14

My research activities cover three major areas, i.e. wind power generation, domestic appliances, electrified transportation including electric vehicles, more electric aircraft, fast train and ship propulsions. The novel electrical machines and controls are the key components for all these applications. My research has contributed to improved efficiency, reduced weight, and reliability of the products, which lead to low-carbon generation, reduced cost, and greater resilience of supply.
