About Anytime, Anywhere Engineers
Anytime, Anywhere Engineers provided primary school children from rural communities and their families with a unique insight into the world of engineering. Through five engaging and interactive online family STEM club sessions, children learnt about life as an engineer as they were guided through a series of activities based on real-life engineering practices and principles. Led by the National Farmers’ Union, each session was hosted by agricultural engineers, who ran the sessions alongside experienced education practitioners.
These live sessions were recorded and shared online alongside immersive, interactive 3D tours of five different engineering workplaces so the children could explore the world of engineering at their own pace. Educational videos and interviews, tailored to primary learners, were embedded into the virtual tours to further enhance the learning experience.
