Ongoing growth and support
The Leaders in Innovation Fellowships (LIF) is much more than a fixed-term programme. LIF Community provides lifelong learning and support for members of its 1,500+ alumni community, strengthening capacity and showcasing alumni success year-round. Alumni are automatically enrolled following graduation from either LIF Global or Advance, joining our prestigious global network of like-minded entrepreneurs.
The Academy is a global convening force in the field of entrepreneurship, and do not demand any fee, equity or IP from our alumni. Throughout the year, alumni can expect to engage in community activities tailored to their feedback, both online and in-person.
The LIF Community is enabled by funding from the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
Our community offer
Examples of what you can expect from the LIF Community include:
- Digital training sessions on topics such as systems thinking, raising finance, personal effectiveness, and more
- Community grants, providing funding for community-focused projects delivered by members of the LIF Community
- Travel grants, designed to support attendance to purposeful events which support continued entrepreneurial growth
- Community weeks, providing in-person opportunities to strengthen capacity and regional networks, while showcasing alumni success
- Innovator of the Year, our annual award bestowed on an alum who has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to driving impact through innovation, as well being consistently involved in LIF Community activities
- Women’s network, providing targeted learning and support for our women entrepreneurs in response to systemic gender barriers within entrepreneurship
Access to our global network
We know how important networking is to continued success. That’s why every LIF country is represented by an Alumni Country Chapter: entrepreneurs from the community who have been elected by their peers to lead, convene and engage their fellow alumni at a national level. As a global convening force in the field of entrepreneurship, the Academy can also enhance your network beyond the LIF Community, with our prestigious network of Academy Fellows, investors and world-leading experts helping to grow your business to the next level.
