Mary Grace 'Orange' Silverio
Mary Grace 'Orange' Silverio is an ADHD-awareness advocate, and social entrepreneur passionate about bridging job opportunities and food security. She has 13 years of experience in the freelance industry as a social media manager and web developer. Orange founded Tambanokano Aqua Farm, and her innovative work earned her the Trailblazing Creative Disruptor Award at the 2024 Benilde Alumni Technopreneur Awards, and placed her 2nd in the Payoneer - Bridge For Billions Incubation Pitch Competition. She's been a semi-finalist in international competitions such as ASEAN Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation programme, and HEC Montreal's Social Business Creation Competition.
Through her startup, Tambanokano Aqua Farm (TAF), she has developed an innovative and sustainable aquaculture solution named 'Crab Condominiums': an eco-friendly, modular structure providing a controlled environment for crab cultivation. The system uses recirculating aquaculture technology that reuses up to 85% of the water, reducing pressure on wild crab populations, minimising environmental impact, and facilitating the responsible production of seafood.
