Mariah Mikhaela Chua
Mariah Mikhaela Chua is a results-driven, zero-to-one founder with a strong background in operational leadership and data-driven innovation. She began her career as a molecular biologist, developing vaccine candidates and diagnostic kits for malaria and neglected tropical diseases. Witnessing the systemic challenges in the Philippine healthcare system, she shifted her focus to building scalable solutions that bridge operational gaps in both public and private healthcare. Her team's work in public healthcare with the World Health Organisation is now being used by regional health offices in the Philippines, advancing the country's capacity for data-informed healthcare delivery.
Her startup, CareGo Health Suite, helps clinic owners and healthcare providers to optimise clinical performance so they can focus on providing the highest level of patient care possible. This includes streamlining clinic operations, from patients automatically receiving lab results, to providing users with data-driven insights and financial management support. The platform provides a seamless user experience through the real-time dashboards and automation software, helping to reduce the burden of labour-intensive, insight-void tasks on healthcare professionals.
