Loi Thi Nguyen
Following her work for an INGO supporting underserved communities, Loi Thi Nguyen travelled to the US in 2006 to complete her master's degree in International Development and Social Change. Following her return to Vietnam, she worked on a range of various USAID’s programmes, namely Governance for Inclusive Growth, Vietnam Low Emission Energy, and Sustainable Forest Management . She currently the CEO of Green Global Technology Development Company.
Her innovation leverages innovative enzyme technology to convert coffee wastewater into bio-fertiliser and coffee husks into cascara tea, enhancing local agriculture, improving farmer livelihoods, and promoting human health. This approach not only improves soil quality and reduces production costs, but also minimising the use of a chemical fertiliser.
