Dr Erick Eduardo Guzmán Quezada
Dr Erick Eduardo Guzmán Quezada is an Associate Research Professor with over 8 years of experience leading and managing bioengineering R&D projects focused on instrumentation systems, biosignal processing, and artificial intelligence. Dr Quezada has collaborated and maintained close relations with the automotive and semiconductors industry, the University of Texas, the University of Guadalajara, the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, and several leading rehabilitation centres and hospitals globally.
Dr Quezada's innovation develops an advanced upper limb prosthesis controlled by electromyography (EMG) signals and voice commands. This innovative system combines bioelectrical signals and voice recognition, using advanced AI algorithms to provide a more intuitive and user-friendly prosthetic experience. The integration of machine learning techniques allows the prosthesis to adapt to the user's muscle patterns over time, improving its responsiveness and ease of use.
