Vardhan Phadnis

Vardhan Phadnis is a serial entrepreneur, having founded several ventures in MedTech and eCommerce tech. His current venture, Renu MedTech, is an early stage startup with a vision to democratise advanced diabetes care in India. Previously, Vardhan was a Cofounder at Shoptimize, an eCommerce SaaS platform, which successfully got acquired by Graas in 2022. In a professional career spanning 19 years, he has worked in the US, Europe and India across the domains of supply chain, finance and strategy, before taking the entrepreneurial plunge.

Renu MedTech is the developer of InsuPatch™, a compact, discreet insulin patch pump that replaces multiple painful daily injections for people with diabetes. Current pumps in India are imported, expensive, and severely lack localisation. InsuPatch™ solves this by offering a tubeless, low-cost, easy-to-use device designed specifically for India and lower and middle-income countries. It uses a novel engineering mechanism to deliver insulin throughout the day, helping users to maintain better control of their glucose levels, and live more independently. At a nearly 90% lower cost than existing pumps, it aims to make life-saving diabetes care accessible to millions who cannot afford today’s alternatives.
