Layth Khalid Qays is an undergraduate pharmacy student, researcher, and healthcare innovator with interests in digital health, bioinformatics, and biotechnology. As a co-founder and current president of ZUJ's Pharmacy Students' Research Club, he leads the development of scientific workshops and initiatives. His multidisciplinary approach bridges scientific innovation and practical application to address critical health challenges. EmotionMap is a web-based, gamified platform addressing emotion recognition deficits in autistic children, a core challenge affecting social communication and academic inclusion. Co-designed with special-education experts, it delivers culturally adapted Arabic scenarios with real-time multimodal feedback to train emotional recognition skills. Field-deployment mixed-methods research demonstrated 90% faster task completion and significantly higher engagement versus traditional methods. The platform integrates educator analytics dashboards for personalised learning, serving as a low-cost, accessible digital tool. By making sessions playful, measurable, and personalised, EmotionMap provides practical data for tailored reinforcement, positioning it as transformative for inclusive education across underserved Middle Eastern populations and beyond.
