Adel Soccoro Parungao, an Assistant Professor at Holy Angel University, has experience leading the Amateur and Weather Satellite Ground Station Lab and co-developed the Philippines' first weather observation rocket, supported by the Commission on Higher Education.

HESS is a solar-powered generator created as an immediate solution to the high electricity costs experienced by households and small to medium-sized enterprises. HESS is installed with a uniquely clever Energy Management System that runs machine learning inference, that detects underlying patterns and makes cost-saving inferences. The advances in computing technologies present an opportunity to embed ML capabilities with HESS at a fraction of the product cost.
