Muyiwa Oyinlola, De Montfort University, led a team from the UK and Nigeria to explore low-cost building materials in Paipe, Nigeria.

Mehran Moazen from University College London led a team from Colombia, Brazil and India to design and create fully customisable low-cost upper limb prostheses using 3D printing, as well as non-3D printed alternatives from recycled materials, for more accessible manufacturing.
