The team is reviewing barriers that prevent small and medium-sized employers from offering industry placements and how larger employers might support them.
Sustainable Higher Education Engineering
Recommendation 6 of the Engineers 2030 Final Report asks that the UK government ensure engineering education in schools, further education and higher education be set at a level that ensures its future sustainability. We are developing a costed model and policy of what sustainable higher education engineering funding would be so that universities are able to help meet the skilled workforce needs we need.
