Consultation Response: Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) - Temporary Shortage List Review
The team submitted a response to the Migration Advisory Committee’s Stage 2 consultation on the Temporary Shortage List, which seeks evidence on occupations considered critical to the UK’s Industrial Strategy and major infrastructure delivery. Our contribution forms part of the MAC’s wider evidence‑gathering process as it assesses which occupations should be recommended for inclusion on the Temporary Shortage List.
Consultation Response: Post-16 Level 3 and Below Pathways
The team welcomed the opportunity to contribute feedback to the consultation on post‑16 level 3 and below pathways, which explores the introduction of a new vocational route at level 3 and two streamlined pathways at level 2. In our response, we reflected on how these proposals could support clearer progression for learners, and we look forward to the publication of the consultation outcomes and to continuing to support improvements in post‑16 education.
