INVITATION ONLY
Generously supported by the Welsh Government and the Panasonic Trust, This is Engineering: Schools – Welsh Valleys supports an extensive network of schools and colleges across the Welsh Valleys to inspire and encourage young learners to pursue STEM subjects into post-16 education.
The programme’s annual celebration event offers pupils the opportunity to showcase their impressive STEM work, helping to build their confidence and giving them the chance to be recognised with prizes. Pupils will also gain insight into local engineering career pathways and ignite their curiosity through interactive industry exhibitions and hands on STEM workshops.
Event guests are invited to learn about pupils STEM work and vote for their favourite exhibitions. The programme will continue with insights from early career engineers, who will address questions submitted by pupils, followed by a networking opportunity for the programmes community over lunch.
