PUBLIC EVENT
Join us for the January edition of Hub Lates at the Enterprise Hub Northern Ireland.
This month’s event will spotlight one of the nation’s most exciting entrepreneurs, offering an evening of inspiration, conversation, and connection.
Opening with a fireside chat featuring Iain Hendrick of Neurovalens, who will share his entrepreneurial journey from scaling up and raising investment to overcoming challenges and building the right culture for growth. The discussion will be followed by an interactive Q&A session, giving you the chance to dive deeper into the lessons and insights.
Alongside the conversation, you will also learn more about how the Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Hub supports ambitious entrepreneurs across the UK.

Iain Hendrick
Iain Hendrick is an engineering and operational leader in medical device design, development and manufacture. As the Chief Project Officer at Neurovalens, Iain has responsibilities spanning operations, product development, manufacturing, quality management, and business development.
In the UK, more than a third of adults suffer from symptoms of insomnia, while over 2.5 million people experience anxiety. Typically, these are treated with medication and therapy, which can have limitations and side effects. Neurovalens is addressing these challenges by developing non-invasive and drug free treatments.
Neurovalens’ non-invasive, wearable neurostimulation device directly targets the nervous system, offering long-term relief without the side effects or risks associated with medication use. Moreover, the device’s design allows for home-based treatments that can demonstrate clinically significant improvements in patients with these conditions within just four weeks.
Iain participated in the Royal Academy of Engineering Shott Scale Up Accelerator in 2024, while Neurovalens recently secured £6million to fund its expansion in global healthcare markets.
