PUBLIC EVENT
The Sainsbury Management Fellowship (SMF) Webinar and Q&A is for candidates interested in applying for one of the UK’s most prestigious opportunities for ambitious engineers. SMF is a unique programme that empowers engineers to become future leaders, by funding an MBA at one of 19 leading eligible business schools, and providing access to an influential network of senior professionals.
This webinar will give attendees a comprehensive understanding of the SMF scheme—its objectives, eligibility criteria, and the transformative opportunities it offers. We will explore how SMF supports engineers in developing strategic leadership skills, broadening their career horizons, and making an impact across industry and society.
Participants will gain insights into the application process, including what the selection panel looks for in successful candidates. We’ll share guidance on how to demonstrate leadership potential, articulate career ambitions, and present a compelling case for why you are ready to take this next step.
The interactive Q&A segment will allow attendees to put their questions directly to the scholarship team, covering topics such as eligibility, timelines, and tips for strengthening your application. This is your chance to receive advice and clarity on how to stand out in a competitive process.
By the end of the session, you will have a clear understanding of how the fellowship can accelerate your pathway to becoming an influential leader. If you’re an ambitious engineer, eager to make a real impact, this webinar is for you.
