AWARDEES ONLY
Join our interactive webinar to boost your confidence and networking skills ahead of the annual Awardee Excellence Community Conference taking palce in Glasgow on 27 and 28 November.
What to expect:
This is an excellent opportunity for those new to conferences or anyone looking to enhance their networking skills This optional online session offers a supportive environment to ask questions, and practice networking in breakout rooms. You'll also have a chance to connect with fellow delegates and Academy staff, and participate in a Q&A with the Awardee Excellence Community team to ensure you are fully prepared for the conference.
The event will begin with a 20-minute introduction and Q&A session about the Community Conference. Attendees will then join a 10-minute breakout room, led by the relevant programme manager from the Academy, to introduce themselves ahead of the conference. After this, we will hear a short presentation from Jennifer MacDonald, interim Head of D&I, on networking tips and myth busting to make a lasting impression.
All attendees should have already registered to attend the Community Conference in Glasgow. It would also be beneficial to complete your Awardee Directory profile before attending so that you can find and connect with the people you meet during the event and establish a connection before the conference.
