The Community Conference 2025 is the second flagship event of the Awardee Excellence Community. The programme offers a mix of interactive sessions, thought-provoking discussions and opportunities for collaboration. Awardees will engage with themes at the forefront of engineering and innovation, including interdisciplinary collaboration, sustainable AI, neurotechnology, quantum technologies and more.
Whether you're early-career, a seasoned researcher, or established entrepreneur, the Community Conference will serve as a hub for networking, inspiration and knowledge exchange, whilst emphasising representation. We offer this unique opportunity to connect, collaborate, and contribute to a shared vision to engineer better lives.
What to expect:
The event will feature a mix of Academy and awardee-led sessions, based around the three themes of our new strategy: Sustainable and Innovative Economy, Technology Improving Lives and Engineering Community Fit for the Future. You will have the opportunity to attend site visits and witness examples of Scottish engineering innovation in Glasgow city, and participate in awardee lightning talks, a networking dinner, an Awardee Exhibition, Community Unconference and more.
All attendees will be required to complete their entry into the Awardee Directory so you will easily be able to find and connect with the people you meet during the event
