Theme description: This dialogue will explore the question of how to sustain human life on a habitable planet, ranging over systems principles, durable solutions, dealing with complexity, learning from ecosystems, coherent implementation and community-focused engineering. This session will be suited to early to mid-career engineering experts and academics interested in systems engineering for a sustainable world. The theme helps us consider the Academy's goal of ‘Engineering a better life’.
