Join us as we celebrate five years of the programme, which aims to raise aspirations for engineering careers across the West Midlands, and enhance STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) provision in our partner schools and colleges.
The Lord Bhattacharyya Engineering Education Programme supports a network of 25 schools and colleges across the region, providing funding and CPD opportunities for young people and their teachers. The programme was established in 2020 in memory of Lord Kumar Bhattacharyya CBE FREng FRS, who founded WMG at the University of Warwick and was passionate about inspiring the next generation of engineers.
The event will feature an exhibition which showcases the projects and activities delivered as part of the programme, as well as inspirational talks, an insightful Q&A panel, and hands-on activities together with employer networking.
