INVITATION ONLY
For the first time, we are gathering awardees of the Transforming Systems Through Partnerships (TSP) programme from eight countries in London. Over the period of three days, they will be able to reflect on the achievements of the last ten years, build their networks and skills, explore the UK ecosystem and look ahead to the next decade of the programme.
This evening event is a unique opportunity to meet this select group from India, Jordan, South Africa, Thailand, China, Turkey, Colombia, and the UK, hear their stories and celebrate their accomplishments. We will build new connections, exchange ideas, and explore strategic opportunities within the UK and international research and innovation ecosystems. We are delighted to be joined for the event by representatives from UK industry, government, policymakers and diplomats from the countries represented.
Join us to celebrate a decade of impact for the Transforming Systems through Partnership (TSP) programme, supported by the UK government. TSP catalyses partnerships between universities, research institutions, large and small companies, civil society and other organisations to address the sustainable development goals (SDGs). Focused on challenge-led research and innovation, skills building, and knowledge exchange, TSP has awarded 300 grants in nine countries since launching in 2015.
These projects have created real impact and contributed to all 17 of the SDGs. Highlights include piloting a new model for providing renewable energy access in low-income communities in Colombia, designing the first affordable net zero house in Pretoria and collaborating with the South African government on a sustainable affordable housing roadmap, and conducting research that informed Thailand’s first off-shore structures decommissioning law.
