Emerging technologies conference theme
Innovation is one of the core pillars of the Academy’s work. We are investing in some of the UK’s most creative and exciting engineering ideas and businesses. We do this by supporting the growth of hundreds of companies through our Enterprise Hub and our Chairs in Emerging Technologies programme which supports researchers developing emerging technology areas that have potential to deliver economic and social benefit to the UK. Our MacRobert Award recognises outstanding innovation coupled with tangible societal benefit and proven commercial success. Winners include Google DeepMind for their GraphCast technology and Quanta Dialysis Technologies for their portable dialysis machine.
