This event is being jointly organised by the Campaign for Science and Engineering, the Foundation for Science and Technology and the four National Academies – the Academy of Medical Sciences, the British Academy, the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Society. Representatives from the major political parties will be invited to outline the policies that their party will be putting forward to support science, innovation and technology at the forthcoming General Election, followed by a Q&A, with questions from the chair and the audience.
The panel will be chaired by science journalist and commentator, Anjana Ahuja, and will include spokespeople from the Conservatives, Labour and Liberal Democrats:

- Chi Onwurah, Shadow Science, Research and Innovation Minister
- Lord Clement-Jones, Liberal Democrat Science Spokesperson
