In the 10th anniversary year of the Africa Prize, we are celebrating a decade of innovation and our talented community of engineers from across the continent.
The Awardee Excellence Community is partnering with Africa Prize to bring together current and past Academy awardees based in Kenya for a special networking event on the 13 June 2024 in Nairobi. The event will connect around 120 awardees from across the Awardee Excellence Community including innovators, entrepreneurs, academics and industry experts.
The day will culminate in the 2024 Africa Prize final, where 16 African innovators will face the judges and pitch their home-grown engineering solutions to transform the continent. One will be selected as the £50,000 winner. At the event you can connect with awardees, Fellows, innovators, investors, and other distinguished guests.
If you are an awardee based in Kenya, then join us to network and connect with other outstanding community of engineers. Local transport and meals will be covered by the Academy for all delegates. Flights and up to 2 nights of accommodation will be funded for anyone based outside of Nairobi.
All awardees of our international programmes based in Kenya are invited to participate in this event. This includes some project collaborators, please get in touch for more information.
