FELLOWS ONLY

Hosted by the President, Professor Sir Jim McDonald FREng FRSE, this event will give Fellows based in Scotland the opportunity to discuss nominating prospective candidates in line with the Academy's Fellowship Fit for the Future campaign.
The Fellowship Fit for the Future campaign seeks to encourage nominations for candidates to the Fellowship from underrepresented groups. Our ambition is that every year until the Academy's 50th Anniversary in 2026, at least half of all candidates elected to the Fellowship will be from underrepresented groups. While good progress is being made, we must keep up the momentum and keep nominating candidates representing the breadth and depth of engineering. The campaign’s success is critically dependent on the engagement of Fellows in this process.
