You are warmly invited to attend the Royal Academy of Engineering’s North East regional event. This event will include a tour in the afternoon of the Newcastle Helix, the city’s state-of-the-art innovation district, followed by a drinks reception and dinner at The Common Room, a heritage venue in Newcastle celebrating the region’s engineering history. The Academy’s Vice President for Fellowship Engagement, Catriona Schmolke FREng, will give a short address at the dinner.
This event will be an opportunity for networking and to hear about important engineering developments in the North East region including the Northumberland Workforce Pilot involving almost 40 local employers seeking to invest in the county’s talent pipeline.
You can register to attend the afternoon tour and dinner, or the dinner only. Registration will close Saturday 1 April.
