INVITATION ONLY
This festive reception will celebrate and share insights and achievements from the This is Engineering campaign to date. It will also include a panel discussion and Q&A about the race for engineering talent as we look ahead to the campaign's fifth anniversary in 2023. We expect the evening to engineer some very lively and insightful conversations.
Several challenges, such as achieving net zero by 2050 and a 78% reduction in carbon emissions by 2035, as well as pandemic recovery and future protection, pressing global food and energy crises, and digital advancements have intensified the demand for engineers. However, with this demand far outstripping supply, how can our profession win the race to recruit more, and more diverse, engineers to improve outcomes for both people and planet? This is the question we will be putting to our panel of digital and green skills experts and engineers, as we explore what is already being done and where we go from here.
