Connecting policymakers with the nation’s leading engineers
As the UK’s national academy for engineering and technology, the Royal Academy of Engineering brings together the most talented and successful engineers, finest systems thinkers and outstanding talent in technology for the benefit of society. The Policy Fellowships bring together exceptional policymakers in an intensive development programme and build stronger connections between policymakers and the technical community in support of better evidence-based policymaking. The programme was launched in 2020, following a successful pilot in 2019.
