Transforming skillsets through training and education
NOTE FROM SIOBHAN: This is an example intro paragraph it needs reviewing.
The Skills centre will be actively involved in upskilling the engineering workforce through working with existing and new partners, designing and piloting different approaches to education and training.
It will develop and promote existing programmes that provide opportunities for developing skills that align with the emerging technologies the UK will need for an effective engineering workforce.
As the Skills centre progresses , new programmes will be developed alongside the long standing Academy initiatives below. Our programmes are designed to meet the UK government sustainability goals, and provide funding and support for awardees across the talent pipeline – from 16-18 college-based support to postgraduate and professional development opportunities.
