International Committee

The Academy’s International Committee reports into Trustee Board and is responsible for providing direction for the Academy’s programme of international activities, including:

• Our Sustainable Development programmes, covering our portfolio of activities in Africa and the Frontiers programme;
• Our bi-lateral and multi-lateral international partnerships, including membership of the International Council of Academies of Engineering and Technological Sciences (CAETS), the European Council of Applied Sciences and Engineering (Euro-CASE) and the World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO).
• Engineering X – an international collaboration founded by the Academy and Lloyd’s Register Foundation supporting engineers to play their role in addressing global challenges;
• Our global mobility programmes, including the Global Talent Visa and Distinguished International Associates programmes.
