Sir Kenneth Olisa is a British business leader and philanthropist with a lifelong career in the information technology sector. A graduate of Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, he began his career at IBM in 1974, progressing through roles in systems engineering, sales, and marketing. He later joined Wang Laboratories, serving as Vice-President of US Marketing and subsequently, Senior Vice-President and General Manager for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
In 2000, Sir Kenneth founded Interregnum, a pioneering technology merchant bank, which he successfully floated on AIM. He now leads Restoration Partners, a private technology merchant bank advising growth companies.
Sir Kenneth has served on the boards of major corporations including Reuters, ENRC, Open Text, and Thomson Reuters. He is committed to public service and philanthropy, having held trustee roles with the British Computer Society, Institute of Directors, Peabody Trust, and others. He is Founder and Trustee of the Aleto Foundation and a Trustee of the King Charles III Charitable Fund. He currently serves as Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London, High Bailiff of Westminster Abbey, and Bailiff of Egle in the Order of St John. His contributions have been recognised with multiple honorary degrees and a knighthood for services to business and philanthropy.
