Professor Jennifer Schooling has had a varied career in industry and academia. Her current research explores the sociotechnical aspects of digitalisation at the city scale, focusing on governance and ethical innovation to enable delivery of digital solutions for public value creation. She is a co-director of DARe - the National Hub for Decarbonised, Adaptable, and Resilient Transport Infrastructures. She also researches decarbonisation of construction through data. Jennifer led the Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction for 10 years, cementing its reputation as a recognised leader in civil and construction engineering internationally. She is a highly respected researcher and leader in the field of smart infrastructure, advocating for the use of digital technologies to improve infrastructure. She is a regular speaker at industry events and conferences.
