Dr Elford is a scientist and engineer who became a successful entrepreneur and senior manager. He is internationally recognised for his contributions to solving engineering problems in the acoustic engineering industrial noise pollution market. He founded Sonobex, a successful startup that has created an innovative, disruptive technology, and delivered needed, cost-effective novel solutions to European markets. He was an early success of the Academy’s Enterprise Hub and has since worked with the programme to help other entrepreneurs achieve startup success.
