This group takes leadership in developing and using measures and indicators for diversity and inclusion. The measures will support assessing progress and trends and will provide a lever for action and challenge within organisations and as an engineering community.

The types of measures and indicators to be explored would include topics such as the prevalence of diverse groups within organisations at all levels and especially at Executive Board Level, the extent to which data collection enables tracking the experience of different groups through recruitment processes or progression stages, whether the inclusion experience of different groups is tracked through employee engagement surveys, the extent to which inclusion priorities are built into performance measurement mechanisms.

After developing and refining a set of measures and indicators, this group would then consider what, if any changes, would be beneficial to the DILG benchmarking survey prior to the rerun of the survey by early 2018.
