  • Diversity and inclusion (D&I) objectives written into leaders’ performance contracts.
  • Employee networks, known as business resource groups (BRGs), are a key part of the D&I strategy.
  • Groups of volunteers come together either on a local basis, nationally or internationally, to drive activities that fall within BP’s five D&I strategy areas.
  • The first BRGs formed were the women’s international networks (WINs). There are now BRGs for other employee groups, including LGBT employees, ethnic minorities, working parents and people with disabilities.
