Nominations are now closed for the Royal Academy of Engineering Major Project Award 2020. 

The award will reopen in Autumn 2020. 

The Major Project Award recognises the contribution of a team of up to five engineers, based in the UK, who have delivered a major engineering project that has had a substantial impact on society. The project can come from any branch of engineering.
The recipient(s) of the Major Project Award will be selected by the Royal Academy of Engineering's Awards Committee.
The prize will be awarded annually. The prize will not be awarded if in any year the Academy so decides.
The Award will consist of a medal.
Nominations must provide the following information:
• Particulars of the Nominee.
• Citation of not more than 500 words describing the Nominee's achievements.
• Curriculum vitae of not more than two pages for the Nominee(s) or Team Leader should be attached
• Letters of support from two referees.  At least one of the referees should be from outside the Nominee's organisation.  The Nominator should not be one of the referees.
Self-nominations are not accepted, however, if you are interested in this award but do not know of anyone to nominate you please contact the Academy.
Only completed nominations will be considered. Please ensure that the nomination form is complete with CV and letters of support at the time of submission.
Each nominator can submit no more than three nominations in any one year for the award.
Submissions for the award will reopen again in September 2020.
