The Royal Academy of Engineering is launching a new webinar series covering a range of topics relating to engineering education and careers. Each webinar will highlight the important work of the Academy and its partners, and create a forum for discussion and future collaboration. Each talk will be followed by a Q&A session with the speaker.

Engineering has never mattered more in today's world. So too with creativity. Yet schools are organised by timetables in which engineering and creativity are invisible. Drawing on research undertaken with the Royal Academy of Engineering and with the OECD, Professor Bill Lucas will share insights from his role as the co-chair of the new PISA 2021 Test of Creative Thinking and argue that schools need to rethink their approach to engineering and creative thinking.

More information can be found in his speaker biography below.

The webinar is free of charge, however, registration is required. For more information, please contact: Guy Paul, Education Policy Assistant.
