The Research Forum is a highlight of the Academy’s activities. It showcases the world-class engineering research funded through the Academy’s wide range of programmes.

The event consists of a mix of key note talks from current awardees and alumni. Awardees from across the portfolio of Academy’s research schemes will also exhibit posters and demos throughout the day. This will take place in themed exhibition spaces for attendees to explore areas of industrially-relevant research in more depth.

This year’s showcase sessions themes are based on the following Industrial Strategy Grand Challenges themes:

  • Artificial intelligence and data
  • Ageing society and healthcare engineering
  • Clean growth
  • Future of mobility

This event is free of charge to attend but registration is required.

The event is an excellent opportunity for Fellows, industry sponsors and other interested parties to find out more about the Academy’s research programmes, and meet and be inspired by the outstanding awardees.
