Funded through the UK Government’s Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF), Frontiers of Development is a series of symposia bringing together the best early to mid-career researchers (approximately 5-20 years post-doc or industry equivalent) from industry, academia, NGOs and government in multidisciplinary workshops that address fundamental development challenges. This programme is run by the Royal Academy of Engineering on behalf of the Royal Society, The Academy of Medical Sciences and the British Academy.
The two and a half day symposium includes a series of multidisciplinary workshops where participants discuss international development challenge themes and build new collaborative networks with whom they can bid for seed-funding at the end of the symposium.
For more information, visit Frontiers of Development or contact Catriona MacArthur Programme Officer at the Royal Academy of Engineering.
