Barriers to women advancing in their careers, or following a particular career path, can include a lack of diverse and visible role models, as well as a shortage of professional networks to help them. As part of International Women in Engineering Day (INWED19), the Royal Academy of Engineering is hosting a special lunch where attendees can share their progressive ideas.

This is the perfect opportunity for the next generation of engineers to network with senior industry leaders, providing a platform to share advice, experiences and encourage participation from both sides.
