During this one-day workshop, Research Fellows will learn how to deliver the Academy's latest resource Engineering Materials for a Greener Planet and become a registered STEM Ambassador. Attendees will receive training through practical hands-on activities and learn how to connect with schools. They will also learn how to communicate and interact with students, reaching out and inspiring the next generation to take up engineering as a profession.
STEM Learning will deliver a programme that covers important information about the STEM Ambassador programme, an official STEM Ambassador induction, useful tips on getting started and guidance on next steps.
Registration for this workshop is strictly by invitation only and it is on a first-come first-served basis as we only have 30 spaces avaialable. RSVP deadline is Thursday 20 December.
By registering for this event, taking part in the training and becoming a registered STEM Ambassador, you will be consenting for your name and email address to be shared with STEM Learning, which will undertake a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Services) check on your behalf.
